Bookings

To secure your wedding date a non-refundable £50 retainer fee will be required to secure your booking and will be deducted from your final wedding day balance. If you do not pay the retainer fee to reserve your wedding date, that date becomes available to the next client.

By paying the £50 retainer fee, you are confirming that you have fully read and understood and give consent to all of the Terms and conditions outlined in this document.

 

Trial

I advise that a trial should be carried out around 6 weeks prior to your wedding. Trials are carried out at my home address where I have an allocated room for the service. I am of course happy to visit your home address if agreed between us (myself and the client) but please note this will incur travel costs of £0.45 per mile from NG32 1DN. Trials are payable the day prior to your trial and are non-refundable.

Any dissatisfaction of the service must be made known on the day of the trial to allow for any necessary amendments.

 

At the time of the trial I shall require the exact number of people in the bridal party that require my services. Please note a minimum spend of £130 to be spent on the wedding day (this does not include the trial).

Service and location requirements:

A set up table/work area needs to be made available for Amy Spinks 

Working electrical outlets must also be made available for use by Amy Spinks

Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by lamps, is necessary for services to be performed properly.

Travel

Travel from NG32 1DN is free up to 10 miles (5 miles each way). After that, there is a charge of £0.45 per mile.

 

Payments

Balance of the entire Bridal Party should be paid by transfer 1 week prior to your wedding.

 

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations will incur a £50 cancellation fee i.e. your deposit will be retained. Any cancellations less than 2 weeks before your wedding date will require 50% of the full amount to be paid – this includes bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride etc.

 

If any postponements of bookings are made and Amy Spinks is unavailable on your new proposed date, any deposits paid for the original date will be retained.

 

In the unfortunate event that Amy Spinks is unable to perform services on your trial date or your wedding date, for any reason, including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather conditions, etc. Amy Spinks will attempt to pass on your details to an available, equally qualified makeup artist and of course refund your deposit and any retainers for services not provided.

 

Liability:

If Amy Spinks recommends another supplier or assistant for your event, the responsibility of that service is now with both yourself and the supplier. Amy Spinks cannot be held liable.

 

All products and tools are kept sanitary and are sanitized between makeup applications.

 

All skin conditions or allergies must be reported by the client to Amy Spinks prior to the application, and if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release Amy Spinks from liability for allergic reactions.

 

Amy Spinks will not be held liable for any injuries that should arise while on location.
